SYNOPSIS:
“Boulevard der Stars in the middle of Potsdamer Platz, red-colored asphalt-like carpet with ghost cameras with ghostly images of famous filmmakers and actors. Employees of a secret acting agency work like bees in a beehive performing various workaday roles to maintain a good reputation of the place and to keep the hive mind alive.”
DIRECTING STATEMENT:
Set against the backdrop of currently renovating Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz, a hypermodern hive of human activity I had to walk through every day getting to school. It came to my surprise, that the same concrete desert has beehives on the rooftops of the skyscrapers, as if trying to maintain some kind of balance. Normally clinical and hygienic, one of the most touristy destinations in town. Devoid of native social fabric from Berlin, displays an immaculate acting performance with not a single beggar in it.
